But this chill that annually creeping through the rest of the states is NOT my friend. (Although it has made my electric blanket and I very close.) Even when it isn't technically cold I'm still that person wearing 10 layers to cover my ever-preset chicken skin and asking for you to turn down the ac as you flick the sweat off your forehead and wear tank tops in hope of getting a tan with the windows down. With that said, my idea of fun does not usually involve being in any situation I am freezing my toes off.
Lately, zozi has been having deals on snow adventures.
Uhhh, digging yourself a hole in the snow and sleeping in it overnight is not an adventure, it sounds like punishment. It's one of those things that only sounds like a good option in do-it-or-die situations. Why would I want to pay for that? Marketing folks for the site should get a raise b/c somehow they convinced jbear that the adventure sounds super awesome!
My only exceptions to snow are 5-minute snowball fights, 15 minutes of sledding, one day of skiing and maybe 30 minutes of snowmobiling if I had the opportuniy. Let's check the list. No snow caves. No snow-shoeing. No thank you. We can stay in and play kinect and get just as good of a workout. If you'd like the experience I imagine it being similar to sleeping in the freezer overnight. And it's free!
It's supposed to snow in SF this weekend. Seriously?!? Just when I thought I should stop boot shopping. Oh well. Avoid the city. Have you seen how people drive in the rain? After one drop everyone forgets how to signal and use the accelerator or slow down or notice other drivers. I can't imagine how confused everyone would be in the snow.
