New(er) Squiggly Shoes!

Remember when I was excited about my new squiggly shoes?

I love the way my ZigPulse shoes feel.

Reebok Women's Zig Pulse II Running Shoe,White/Brazenberry/Flash Red,6 M US

The mesh is so thin and fine that my feet can breathe.
Unfortunately, the mesh is so thin that whenever my feet brushed up against a rock, bush or anything sharp the material tears. Also, since the material is so thin I am scared of the ripping the mesh more by washing them. Therefore, after a few uses my once beautiful white and red lasagna shoes turned brown and rugged looking.

I do not mind.

People at the gym must see my shoes and think "wow, she's hardcore" when in reality half my jogging activity involves me going to Safeway and returning home with a dessert. Too bad Jbear scoffs walking next to me in my worn shoes. (I know. He must be jealous because he's worked out 50x more than I have in his pair and mine are WAY dirtier.)

No need to be jealous!
I got another pair.

Except these are ZigFuel model.
The mesh material is different and they are blue. Different design, but same squiggles.

It's been so cold lately the lasagna all turned blue!

New Squiggly Shoes!

I tried them on.

There is a sudden spring in my step.

I feel light as air.

Forget easy tones and tight thighs.

I want to walk on a lasagna layer of cushion.

Review: I like.
I wish I could jump all day in these shoes; I have springs on my feet. I tried to wear them walking but when you go heel to toe they propel you forward so I actually did end up running (amazing!) but they were so cushy I did not care.

Update: Holy mesh!
The mesh material on the upper portion of the shoe is very thin. Good for breathing bad for resilience. Anytime I was jogging and the side of my shoe scraped against a rock or a bush the mesh would rip. I think the newer versions have changed the mesh material to a thicker, heavier duty material.

The One with Feet

Photobucket

They come in all shapes and sizes.

A wise person once said there's an awful lot you can tell about a person by their feet.

Where they're going.

Where they've been.

Except I think that was from Forest Gump and he was talking about his mom and she was talking about shoes.

Size 6 please.

Oh well, I like shoes too.
